Hi David - I've been looking at your site for answers - because you are local to me....and I think you're crazy. One night at about 0:00a, I stepped outside because I couldn't sleep. Upon my return inside the house, I was quietly shutting the front door when I saw movement about the time "it" hit my Hauppage animal control foot. Zero-ing in thru the darkness, chills ran thru my spine as I realized there was a snake inside my house at my feet. Not moving my feet, I reached over to the light switch and turned it on. To my horror, I discovered I really was not Hauppage animal control seeing things - but much to my relief, the head was on the other side of the door. Now what.... Was I going to wake my husband up? Or open the door on a snake unknown to me. Hmmm. I sent my husband a text. Yes. I'm a wus, ok? Easier Hauppage pest control than listening to a sleep-induced rampage because I had possibly let a snake in. :) No response. I sent another text. No response. I went upstairs and very gently tried to wake him. "Babe, did you happen to get my text?"
